Aqua (Scotland) Ltd can create and provide a water system maintenance contract programme as one off adhoc service, fixed or rolling contract. From an initial site visit we are able to advise the organisation's senior management team member(s) on what their obligations are under the health and safety law and design a programme of compliance that meets organisation's legal responsibilities and budget. The organisation will be provided with a detailed log book of the building's facility and the programme of scheduled works required, we additionally advise organisations upon non compliance and areas of risk within their water system.

Water Purification Process

The water purification process is the removing of harmful levels of minerals, chemicals and biological materials from contaminated water. The result is to produce water fit for a specific purpose either for consumption or meeting the requirements of; medical, biotechnology, pharmacology, chemical, electronics, semi conductors and other industrial key criteria applications. We take the responsibility in the assessment and evaluation of the general methods used including physical processes such as filtration and sedimentation. Biological processes such as slow sand filters or activated sludge, chemical processes such as flocculation and chlorination and the use ultraviolet light. We can clean and disinfect water storage tanks, pipework, outlets and showers as or if required by the findings of a risk assessment and water sampling. Temperature checks on the hot and cold water systems, as a basic maintenance programme, will give early indication of a balanced system or a system with risk.

Our Technical Team can advise on and maintain your Reverse Osmosis (RO), Deionised (DI) and Demineralised (Demin) water systems. We can design a programme for membrane changes or regeneration, incorporate the change of the UV Lamp and maintenance of the UV Sterilisation system. We will provide organisations with the paper trail for duty of care with the disposal of all redundant and expired components.
